This isn’t a general Spanish course.

Spanish for Real Life is a small live online course for international adults who live in Spain or are planning to move here, and who already know some Spanish but still feel unsure when they need to use it in everyday situations.

You’ll practise the language you need for phone calls, appointments, paperwork, housing, healthcare, the pharmacy and everyday conversations — with plenty of speaking practice, realistic role-plays and feedback.

This course focuses on Spanish language practice only. SpanishCalls does not provide legal, medical, social-services or administrative advice.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course is designed for international adults who live in Spain or are planning to move here.

It is aimed at A2–B1 learners: people who already have some Spanish but still hesitate, get stuck or lack confidence when they need to use it in real-life situations.

It may be right for you if:

• You avoid making phone calls in Spanish.
• You understand some Spanish, but responding quickly is difficult.
• You need practical language for appointments, paperwork, housing, healthcare or everyday life.
• You want to practise speaking in a small, supportive group.
• You want useful Spanish that you can apply immediately outside the classroom.

This course is not suitable for complete beginners, advanced speakers, tourists looking for travel Spanish, DELE preparation, or anyone looking for legal, medical, social-services or administrative advice.

WHAT WILL WE WORK ON?

Over three weeks, we’ll focus on practical Spanish that you can use in everyday life in Spain.

You won’t simply memorise vocabulary. You’ll practise how to ask, answer, clarify, confirm, explain and react in realistic situations.

CALLS AND APPOINTMENTS

Practise making, changing and confirming appointments, asking for information and dealing with common questions over the phone.

PAPERWORK AND ADMINISTRATION

Practise asking for clarification, checking which documents are required and understanding common instructions and questions.

HOUSING AND EVERYDAY ERRANDS

Practise asking about availability, conditions, prices and documents, and explaining common everyday problems.

HEALTHCARE AND PHARMACY

Practise the Spanish you need to describe common symptoms, ask simple questions, request clarification and understand basic instructions.

SMALL TALK AND WORK SITUATIONS

Practise short conversations, useful reactions, asking people to repeat or clarify something, and sounding more natural in everyday interactions.

ROLE-PLAYS AND FEEDBACK

Take part in realistic simulations and receive personal feedback so you know what you are doing well and what to work on next.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AFTER THREE WEEKS?

You won’t become fluent in three weeks — and that isn’t the goal.

The aim is for you to feel better prepared, less hesitant and more confident when you need to use Spanish in everyday situations in Spain.

You’ll leave the course with useful phrases, structures and strategies that you can reuse in real life.

DATES, SCHEDULE AND FORMAT

Start date: Tuesday, 6 October 2026
Class days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 3:30–4:45 pm (Madrid time)
Duration: 3 weeks · 6 live 75-minute classes
Format: Live online classes
Group size: 4–6 learners

Because this is a small and highly interactive group, regular attendance is strongly recommended. Classes missed by individual students cannot be rescheduled, but you will still have access to the materials from that lesson.

If a class falls on an official public holiday observed in Barcelona, it will be rescheduled.

Launch price: €179 until 2 October

This includes:

The course is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 6.

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will receive a full refund.

If, after the first class, we realise that the course is not suitable for your level, we will also refund your payment.

SMALL GROUP: MAXIMUM 6 LEARNERS

The group is intentionally small so that everyone has time to speak, ask questions, practise and receive feedback.

The course will go ahead once a minimum of 4 participants has been confirmed.

HOW TO JOIN

2. Complete the short intake form

After your order, we’ll ask you a few questions about your Spanish, your situation in Spain and the everyday situations in which you most need to use the language.

If needed, we’ll also send you a short level assessment to make sure the course is suitable for you.

3. Receive confirmation

Within 24 hours, you’ll receive an email confirming your place and whether the course is a good fit for your level. Please check your spam folder too.

If your level is not suitable for this group, we will refund your payment.

4. Start when the group is confirmed

Once the minimum of 4 participants is confirmed, we’ll send you the meeting link and all the practical information you need before the first class.
